| This is the Start of the "Octopus Race". The object: row a canoe to an island, about a mile away, and return to the pier. The canoe in the center, is us! Yes, last place, but we won't finish last, and we will paddle the whole way...No tow-boat for us! "Cookie", "Thumper" & "Timon" finishes what they start! (149 Pride!) The race took them almost 45 minutes to complete, but they all got out of the canoe a little taller than when they got in! |
