Camp Parsons
(July 5th, 1998)
The day we arrive at Camp Parsons.(Chief Seattle Council) This camp is located on the shore of the Hood Canal in Washington State. We'll call this home for the next week.

One of the first things campers do at Camp Parsons is the "Swim Test". Anyone planning to get in the water during camp, must take the test. Even the adults.

Snorkling Fun
The Scouts try out Snorkling. (Not a sport done in New Mexico very often.) What treasures did they find...shells, starfish, jellyfish, even a $5.00 bill. (If you can give the serial #, we'll give it back!)

One of the "Troop Activties" was the "Pier Jump"! In this Photo, Shadow and Weasel jump appx. 20 feet to the cool water below. The jump is a thrill, both leaving the Pier, and hitting the water.
