
While working on our Family History I've discovered that there are geographic locations all across the country that have been named for the Souther family. Some of them I know the origins, others, I do not. Souther Creek - A waterway in Skamania County. It flows south to the Columbia River 2.5 miles southwest of Carson. History: Named for the Souther family, owners of the land the stream flows through.
