These
pages are devoted
to the members of both Jerry's and my family who
are no
longer with us. Although they are gone from our
daily lives, they will forever be in our
hearts and minds. Their memories will
remain alive inside each of us forever.

Roy was my
father-in-law for over 21 years, I say this with pride,
because a finer man you will never meet! He was always
pleasant, polite, and above all sincere! He had a way of
making you feel comfortable. And you always knew that he
meant whatever he said to you. He was very insightful,
and I relied on his wisdom on many ocassions! When we
found out that he had Leukemia at first it seemed like it
must be a mistake, this was not supposed to happen to
him. And through it all, until the end I don't think that
any of us expected him to die! He struggled with this
terrible disease for over 3 years. Because of his age, he
was in his 70's, a lot of treatment options were not
available to him. And yet he fought with a passion to
live that could only be admired. I never once heard him
say why me. He wanted to live, he had a wife to take care
of, a home to keep up, 2 grown sons to enjoy and a grand
daughter and great grandchildren to watch grow up! But I
belive that they needed a special angel in Heaven.
Someone with his sincere kindness has a special place
there I truly belive. I know that we will all meet again,
and pick up where we left off and it will be a joyous
occasion.
