These are the special feline members of our family! Altouugh both of these beautiful cats have passed on now, I have been emotionally unable at this time to create a memorial to my cat "Buddy". He passed away on June 26, 2000, and it has simply been to soon to deal with it yet. My beautiful girl "Salem" passed away in December 1999, about a week before Christmas. This is Salem, she is eleven years old. She is our bush baby. We found her abandoned by her mother at about three days old. Her eyes were still shut and she was unable to drink. We bottled fed her milk for quite sometime. She will always be my big baby. As you can see she is a pretty large girl. She ia a beautiful solid black American Shorthair. She used to sit on the coffee table, reach below her, and pick up her can of treats with her paw. When she wants to get attention, she will sit on a table and throw things off the edge. She is getting older so she has calmed down a lot. We love her very much.

This is my tomcat Buddy. He is five years old. He is the last addition to our animal family. He was just a stray cat that we found living outside in our neighborhood. He became pals with Sammy and that is how he managed to wiggle his way into our home and our hearts. He was originally named Budweiser, but it was shortened to Buddy. He is a solid gray color with a long silky coat. He likes to lay on my lap and fall asleep and sleep there for hours. He is a good tomcat and he behaves himself most of the time. He was neutered a few years due to health reasons but he still seems to think that he is all tomcat. Being the youngest member of the family he is very spoiled.
