John McCutcheon immigrated from Scotland, possibly through Ulster, Ireland.

John arrived, we think, about 1720 and settled in Donegal, Pennsylvania.

By 1730, he had moved and was settled in Augusta Co., Virginia.

John was a member of Captian Wilson's
7th Company, Virginia Militia.

John was killed by a tree falling on him in 1755

James McCutcheon had land surveyed in Beverly Manor, Augusta Co., Virginia in 1738.

James was married to Grisal Campbell and was also a member of Captain Wilson's 7th Company, Virginia Militia.

James died in 1759.

James McCutcheon, Jr. was born about 1758. He married Elizabeth.

James was a member of Beaties' Company that fought on Kings Mountain. They were Mountain Boys, from Washington Co., Virginia.

In the early 1830's James was living in Giles Co., Tennessee.

Ezekial Norris McCutcheon was born in Tennessee in 1807.

He married Nancy M. Hale in about 1826. They lived in Giles Co., Tennessee, where they farmed, until 1843, when they moved to Newton Co., Arkansas.

E. N. died in 1872 and he and Nancy are both buried in the Dodson Cemetery near Bass, Arkansas.

James M. McCutcheon was born in 1827 and married Sarah Louisa Parker.
James lived in Searcy Co., Arkansas.
Sometime after 1910 he went to Cave Creek in Newton Co. to visit relatives and while there he died and was buried in the
Old Dodson Cemetery, near Bass, Arkansas.

John C. McCutcheon was born
March 25, 1854.

He married Mary Louisa Reddell.

John died November 2, 1933 in Searcy Co., Arkansas and is buried in the McMahan Cemetery, near Snowball, Arkansas.

Mitchell Lawson was born February 13, 1896 in Searcy Co., Arkansas.

Lawson married Anie Watkins, daughter of Charlie Watkins and Naomi Manes, August 7, 1928.
They had one child, a daughter,
