Fischers

Although most of my lovebirds are Peachface mutations, I am also fond of the Fischer's lovebird, which is one of the "eyering" lovebirds. Here are a few pictures of various mutation.

The bird on the left is a blue Fischer's. In front, and to the right is

a "normal" Fischer.

The bird in the center is a normal Fischer.

The one on the left is a Lutino Fischer, and the one on the right is a Dilute Green (sometimes incorrectly called "yellow") Fischer.

Here is a blue Fischer. Ideally, he would have less black on his head.

Easter, above, is a Dilute Blue Fischer

This is a Dilute Blue Fischer split to Ino

Notice that she is much whiter than the dilute blue above.

And, again, a Lutino Fischer, a Dilute Green Fischer

and a Dilute Blue Fischer.

To see more pictures of Fischer's click here to go to my friend Gwen's page. She has some excellent photos of a variety of Fischer mutations (as well as masked, Nyasa, Madagascar and black-cheeked lovebirds), taken at Agapornis Acres, owned by Lee Horton & Roland Debuc here in Southern California.
