Pregnancy Journal- page 95/24/1999-Found out Baby B is a GIRL too!!!!!! She finally decided that we had been kept in suspense long enough. Yippee...two daughters! So many thoughts come to mind with these babies being girls -- how can we raise them to be strong, healthy women? I honestly believe girls have much different social "requirements" than boys do. But I know the bottom line is LOVE, LOVE, LOVE...which we have plenty of. I just don't want to make them a certain way -- I want each to be their own little person, with unique & wonderful ideas. It's easy to have theories (which I've had plenty of time to think about) but so much harder to put those theories into practice. And my hubby -- bless his heart -- is going to be surrounded by females! First, he has to deal with me, then the 3 female dogs we have, and now 2 human daughters. Will he survive? Will he turn into a complete sap? Ahhhh! Goodness, I am bouncing from the walls, can you tell?! *deep breathing*
