Note: In 925, Eadric's name first appears on charters; witnessed at least 35 documents as minister during 925-941, and 29 as dux over 942-949. A regrant from king of one of his properties, Hwituntune, in consequence of the original title papers lost in a fire. He also held Ogburn and Washington by devise. By 931 he was in possession of land adjoining Clere, an estate held by his brother Aethelwold; all four brothers witnessed the document, Aelfstan signing as Ealdorman and the other three as Thegns. The ancestry of his wife is not yet known.
