And what a wonderful journey it can be!!

Just what is this journey? It is a journey that can determine your destination, now and forever........... it is a life changing journey. It is a journey that brings you face to face with yourself and the God who loves you beyond imagination. A journey from darkness to Light.

You see, all of us were born into this world with a specific purpose. We were brought into existence to know and experience our Creator. That is one reason why man, all through recorded time, has a history of worship in one form or another. We are always striving to fill an emptiness within.........an emptiness that can only be filled by God Himself.

Yes, you my friend, were created to know and experience God. The Bible tells us that God has a purpose for your life.......His plans are to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11 NIV ). Scripture also tells us that God loves you with an everlasting love and is drawing you to Himself with loving-kindness (Jeremiah 31:3 NIV ). This is one reason you are reading this page at this very moment....... God is at work in your life......lovingly drawing you to Himself.

However, there is one big problem...... SIN! Sin is any action or attitude that is contrary to God's perfect will. It is sin that keeps us from knowing and enjoying the experience of fellowship with God. To understand this more, we need to examine certain truths the Bible reveals to us about sin.

Romans 3:23 NIV

Romans 6:23 NIV

Second, the Bible does teach that there is a solution to the sin problem, and that solution lies in the person and work of Jesus Christ ( Romans 6:23 NIV). The Bible tells us that God loved us so much that He sent Jesus, His only Son, to die in our place (John 3:16 NIV). Jesus died upon the cross.....He paid the penalty for your sin and my sin so that we would not have to be separated from God (1 John 4:10 NIV). The Bible also teaches that Jesus is the ONLY solution for our sin problem (John 14:6 NIV).

Third, the Bible demands a decision. It is not enough to just know about Jesus Christ and His death on the cross for you. You must choose to put your trust in Christ, to receive this free gift of salvation that God offers ( John 1:12).

All of us have the problem of sin. There is only one solution to the problem - the person of Jesus Christ and His death on the cross for us. Every one of us must decide...
