I love fairies they are so beautiful and also a bit mysterious to us humans
that's the reason why I have made this Fairy Garden.
To praise them and not letting them be forgotten here they are with their small poems.

I will let the Stitchwort Fairy welcome you with her little poem of herself:

I am brittle-stemmed and slender,
But the grass is my defender.

On the banks where grass is long,
I can stand erect and strong.

All my mass of starry faces
Looking up from wayside places,

From the thick and tangled grass,
Gives you greeting as you pass.

Meet my friends - other fairies with their small poems:

Meet the Double Daisy Fairy

You are number Fairy to sneak around this Garden.

Poems and pictures by Cicely Mary Barker - but made for the Net by Susanne's Square.
