In Loving Memory

In Her Daughter's Words~
This is a small tribute to my Mom, Audrey Stange. I am an only child and her whole life always revolved around taking care of me. She was a stay-at-home Mom until I graduated from High School. We used to go shopping together on
Saturdays and make a day of it by having lunch out together. After I moved, my parents followed and built a house near me. I am glad they did because they started to decline health-wise soon after they moved in. My Dad died last year (Norman Stange's Memorial). My mother spent all her time worrying about my Dad while he was sick, even though she wasn't in good health. After he died she had no reason to keep pushing herself. Ill health soon followed
although I know she wanted to stay for me. Recently I became sick with the flu too and Mom's sister decided she had to come and take care of Mom. They were having a great time that week, although Mom was very sick. She had a visiting nurse coming in and had to use a wheel chair to get around when outside the house. It is strange how these things work out though, because I
never expected her to die while her sister was here. But 911 was called and she was just too bad and I finally made the decision to remove life support because she did not want to live like that. Knowing that my Dad was there to meet her helped ease the pain a little. She had just turned 79 years old in
November of last year. I don't know what I am going to do without her. I love you, Mom.
