Memories of Dad

My Dad worked very hard all his life to provide for Mom and worked two jobs most of the time so my memories of him are dim at times. I remember the fun times we had on vacation when we would drive around Virginia to all the historical sites. He was always very fond of Williamsburg and he and Mom made many trips there, even without me. And he always enjoyed going to Niagara Falls. Dad and I would go to the Friday night high school football games together and he would watch the game and I would watch the kids (this was after I was out of school). He was a fun guy and a great dad. He never got over the death of Kelly (pictured above). She died in his arms from cancer many years ago and I found it somehow ironic that cancer is what took him from us early this year too after 5 months of suffering. I like to picture him being met that day at Rainbow Bridge by the wagging tail of his beloved Kelly and other members of his family.

Mr. Stange was joined by his wife in heaven, pictured here with Lucy, a gift from his daughter, Sue.

Memorial lovingly submitted by Mr. Stange's daughter, Sue Stange
