I like to play my clarinet. I won seven awards from contest during seventh and eighth grade. I won 2 so far during my Freshmen year of high school. I played a lot of John Phillip Sousa's music with our band during middle school. I was third chair in the eighth grade band last year. I am in the high school's Symphonic Band. I am third chair out of fifteen clarinetists. This spring I am trying out for the Wind Ensemble ( the high school's top band. ) This summer I will be going to Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp. I will be there fourth session. This will be my second year! I also just started to teach myself the piano.
This year I am running on our school's Track Team. I run the 800 ( half mile. ) I am on the Junior Varsity Team. For practice I run the distance workout. Which is: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays we run a 1 mile warm up. Then we time four to eight 800's. Then we run about ten 200's, and last four build ups ( sprint a 200, slow jog a 200. ) Tuesdays and Thursdays we run three to four constant miles, and then work out in our school weight room. AND FOR SOME REASON I ENJOY THIS???
One of my friends are Tracy { T } She is my best friend. For spring break I am going with her and her family to Kansas. We are going to take a train there ( We will have a cabin in the train to sleep in. ) If you would like to see T, than click. We will be staying out in the country and storm chaising. Tracy is a liscensed storm chaser. We will be driving home in their new car. Tracy is a very good gymnest, when she's not injured.
Karie { Moosey } is also one of my friends. She is not overweight, actually very pretty. She got her nickname before she moved to Batavia. Click to see Moosey. She is obsessed with wolves and dogs, along with all of those guys!!! Karie and I met when we were in a play together in sixth grade. We have future plans to become famous actresses. ( We haven't made a school play since!)
Helen { Turtle } is one of my friends that I met from last year. She got her nick name because when she first meets someone, they usually mention the fact that she has a striking resembleance to a turtle. She also looks a lot like Fiona Apple. Click here to see Turtle. Helen and I met while signing up for Blue Lake together. We have been friends since. She is an awesome violinist. She has traveled around the world playing her music. Next year she will be playing in Japan.
I have many other friends, I will add more later. By the way, those three gave me the nick name of Opee. I don't have any clue why.
