1 cup yellow corn meal | 1 cup flour |
1/4 cup sugar | 4 tsp. salt |
1 cup milk | 1 egg |
1/4 cup olive oil | 1 tsp. baking powder |
Combine corn meal, flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Add milk, egg and oil. Beat until fairly smooth. Bake at 425 degrees in a greased 8" square baking pan for 20 to 25 minutes. Serves 8.
