6 manicotti shells | 2 Tbsp. water |
1 Tbsp. instant minced onion | 1 3-ounce pkg. cream cheese, softened |
1 1 1/4-ounce envelope sour cream sauce mix |
1/4 cup milk |
1 4-ounce can chopped mushrooms, drained |
1 Tbsp. snipped parsley |
1/4 tsp. salt | 1/8 tsp. pepper |
2 cups chopped cooked Turkey OR Chicken |
1 1 1/2-ounce envelope cheese sauce mix |
1/4 cup grated Parmesan Cheese |
Cook manicotti shells in boiling salted water till tender, 15 to 20 minutes; then drain. Combine water & instant minced onion; let stand about 5 minutes.
Combine cream cheese & sour cream sauce mix; blend in milk. Stir in softened onion, mushrooms, parsley, salt & pepper. Add Turkey or Chicken; mix well. Spoon mixture into cooked manicotti shells. Arrange stuffed manicottiin a single layer in a 10 x 6 x 2-inch baking dish.
Prepare cheese sauce mix according to package directions. Pour sauce over manicotti; then Sprinkle with Parmesan Cheese. Bake, covered, at 350 degrees till heated through, 35 to 40 minutes. Serves 6 people
