Cheesy Pretzels

Ingredients
1 (1/4 oz.) pkg. dry yeast 1 1/2 cup warm water
3 Tbsp. sugar 1 1/2 tsp. salt
4 1/2 cups flour 1 cup cheddar cheese, finely shredded
1 egg, beaten coarse salt

Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add sugar and salt. Stir in half of the flour. Add cheese. Knead in remaining flour. Shape into pretzel shapes, numbers, letters, etc. Brush pretzels with beaten egg and sprinkle on coarse salt. Bake at 400 degrees until golden brown.
