Rice & Tuna Pie

Ingredients
1 beaten egg 2 cups cooked rice
2 Tbsp. butter/margarine, melted 2 Tbsp. finely chopped onion
1/2 tsp. dried marjoram, crushed 1 91/4-ounce can tuna,
drained & flaked
3 beaten eggs 1 cup milk
1 cup shredded
Swiss Cheese (4 ounces)
1/4 tsp. salt &
Dash of pepper

Combine the 1 egg, cooked rice, melted butter, 1 Tbsp. of the chopped onion, & 1/4 tsp. of the marjoram. Press onto bottom and sides of a lightly buttered 10-inch pie plate or 10 x 6 x 2-inch baking dish. Place tune atop.
Combine the 3 beaten eggs, milk, Swiss cheese, salt, pepper, remaining 1 Tbsp. onion, & remaining 1/4 tsp. marjoram. Pour over tuna. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees till a knife inserted just off-center comes out clean, 40 to 45 minutes. Garnish with chopped pimiento, or snipped parsley, if desired. Serves about 6 people.
