Watermelon Slush

Ingredients
2 cups water 1/4 cup sugar
1 Tbsp. lemon juice 1 (12 oz.) can frozen fruit punch concentrate
5 cups watermelon 1 (8 oz.) lemon lime carbonated beverage, chilled

Remove all seeds from watermelon cubes and set aside. In a large sauce pan, combine water and sugar. Bring to a boiling stirring until dissolved. Boil gently, uncovered, for 3 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in frozen punch. In a blender, blend 1/2 the watermelon and lemon juice until smooth. Stir into punch mixture. Put in covered container and freeze for 8 hours. To serve, scrape the top of the frozen mixture with a spoon and form a slush. To 1 cup of slush, slowly add 1/2 cup chilled lemon-lime beverage. Garnish wiht melon wedge or lemon twist and mint leaves.
