Conrad Framer was born in Pennsylvania in 1775. He married Mary Huffines on 17 February 1795 in Simpson County, Kentucky. Conrad and Mary had three daughters.
1. Christina, born in 1795.
2. Lucrita, born in 1798 in Simpson County, Kentucky. She married Sion Melton, son of Joseph Melton, in 1820 at Harmons Creek community, Benton County, Tennessee.
3. Elizabeth, born 1800 in Simpson County, Kentucky.
Elizabeth's first husband is thought to be a John Farmer, although this cannot be established. Elizabeth had only one known child, Jackson Farmer, who was born in 1824. Her husband died sometime before 1827 as she married Richard Holland in 1827. Richard Holland died in 1839 in Benton County.
After the death of Richard in 1839, Elizabeth married George Washington Farmer on 13 December 1843. George Washington Farmer was a widower, son of Felty Farmer of Orange County, North Carolina. Elizabeth died on 20August 1875 and is buried beside George Washington Farmer in the Farmer Family Cemetery on Harmons Creek Road in Benton County, Tennessee.
Jackson Farmer was born in 1824 in Tennessee, most likely Humphreys County. He married Temperance Melton on 18 February 1843 in Benton County, Tennessee. It is unknown when he died, but his last child was born in 1888. In the 1880 census, Temperance is shown as head of house with three grandchildren, last name is Snyder. (This information will be conpleted later.) Jackson and Temperance Melton Farmer had nine children.
1. Elizabeth Farmer was born in 1845 in Benton County, Tennessee. She married William Dave Snyder on 7 August 1868 in Benton County, Tennessee. It is not know the year or location of Jackson and Elizabeth's death. They were not in the 1880 census. Their children are show living with their grandmother, Temperance Melton Farmer.
2. John C. Farmer, born in April 1848 in Benton County, Tennessee. He died 24 May 1924 in Benton County, Tennessee.
3. Elija Farmer, born in 1849 in Benton County, tennessee.
4. George Farmer, born in 1857 in Benton County, Tennessee.
5. Alva Farmer, born May 1858 in Benton County, Tennessee. He died on 19 September 1886.
6. E. Berry Farmer, born in October 1859 in Benton County, Tennessee. He died in 1890.
7. Prigen Farmer, born 1 May 1862 in Benton County, Tennessee. He died 13 January 1920 in Shreveport, Louisiana.
8. Mary Lou Farmer, born November 1864 in Benton County, Tennessee. She married William Calvin Cooley on 19 September 1886 in Benton County, Tennessee. She died in 1927.
9. Martha Farmer, born in 1868 in Benton County, Tennessee. She married Charles Seaton on 31 December 1888.
Elizabeth Farmer, born in 1845 in Benton County, Tennessee, married William Dave Snyder on 7 August 1868. William Dave Snyder was the son of Hugh B. Snyder and Lavisa Ramsey. William Dave and Elizabeth died sometime before the 1880 census. Their last child was born in 1876. It is not know where they are buried. William Dave Snyder and Elizabeth Farmer Snyder had three children.
1. Lenora Snyder, was born in July 1869 in Benton County, Tennessee. She married Thomas Jefferson Melton on 31 August 1889 in Benton County, Tennessee. Thomas Jefferson Melton was the son of William Hargrove Melton and Mary Ann Melton.
2. Mary Elizabeth (Bettie) Snyder was born in 1872 in Benton County, Tennessee. She married T. Corbitt ca 1900. She died in 1955 in Nashville, Tennessee. She is buried in Flatwoods Methodist Cemetery in Benton County, Tennessee.
3. George Snyder, born 1876. Died 8 October 1900. He is buried in the Flatwoods Methodist Cemetery in Benton County, Tennessee.
Lenora Snyder and Thomas Jefferson Melton were married on 31 Ausust 1889 in Benton County, Tennessee. Lenora Synder Melton died on 13 May 1946 in Harmons Creek community of Benton County. Thomas Jefferson Melton was born on 14 October 1871 and died on 17 May 1945 in Harmons Creek community of Benton County. Both are buried in Chalk Hill Cemetery, Eva, Benton County, Tennessee. They had five children.
1. Grover Thomas Melton, born 28 October 1891 in Benton County, Tennessee. He married Maude Cooley, on 23 March 1911 in Benton County, Tennessee. He died on 4 September 1971 and is buried in Flatwoods Methodist Cemetery in Benton County, Tennessee.
2. Lou Gather Melton was born on 3 June 1893 in Harmons Creek community of Benton County, Tennessee. She married William Edward Cooley on 3 April 1910.
3. William Ogles Melton, was born in January 1895 in Benton County, Tennessee. He died in 1971 in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania.
4. Merida Lowery Melton, was born in January 1898 in Harmons Creek community of Benton County, Tennessee. He married Zelma Sykes on 21 December 1919. He died on 10 November 1930 in Benton County, Tennessee. They are buried in Chalk Hill Cemetery, Benton County, Tennessee.
5. Missouria Annie Melton, was born 27 May 1900 in Harmons Creek community of Benton County. She married Carrie R. Blanks on 8 January 1922. She died on 9 October 1978 in Camden, Benton County. She and husband are both buried in the Farmer Cemetery in Benton County, Tennessee.
Lou Gather Melton married William Edward Cooley on 3 April 1910 in Benton County, Tennessee. William Edward Cooley was the son of William Calvin Cooley and Mary Lou Farmer. William Edward Cooley was born on 5 December 1890 in Benton County, Tennessee. He died in May 1970 in Camden, Benton County, Tennessee. Lou Gather Melton Cooley died on 18 March 1971 in Camden, Benton County, Tennessee. Both are buried in the Farmer Family Cemetery on Harmons Creek Road in Benton County, Tennessee. They had four children.
1. Morie Cooley, was born on 27 November 1913. She died in 1930 and is buried beside her parents in Farmer Cemetery.
2. William Hershel Cooley, was born on 7 October 1917 in Benton County, Tennessee. He married Dorthy Gertrude Melton on 22 November 1942 in Benton County, Tennessee. He died in 1992 and is buried in Farmer Cemetery, Benton County, Tennessee.
3. Frances Irene Cooley, was born on 10 December 1919 in Harmons Creek community of Benton County, Tennessee. She married Robert Henry Cauthen on 25 October 1943 in Mayfield, Graves County, Kentucky. Robert Henry Cauthen was born 27 May 1905 in Winston County, Alabama. He died on 5 February 1963 in Harmons Creek community of Benton County, Tennessee. Frances Irene Cooley Cauthen died on 29 April 1994. Both are buried in Flatwoods Methodist Cemetery in Benton County, Tennessee.
4. Ethelene Cooley, was born on 21 June 1923. She married Kenneth Wayne Holland.
Frances Irene Cooley and Robert Henry Cauthen had three children.
1.Brenda Joyce Cauthen, was born on 12 September 1944 in Mayfield, Graves County, Kentucky.
2. James Danny Cauthen, was born on 4 December 1945 in Benton County, Tennessee. He died on 7 January 1978 in Benton County, Tennessee. He is buried in Flatwoods Methodist Cemetery.
3. Gloria Jean Cauthen, was born on 8 February 1952 in Bruceton, Carroll County, Tennessee.
