Mamacub's Humble Attempt at Art!!
This is my most favorite, it is my "Boots"! I have won a couple of awards with this one at local events,and will never forget the many, many hours put into it! It was done on Strathmore paper, with charcoal. The brown look is from the poor lighting when taking a picture of it!
This is a collage of different pictures representing the Northwest. The Mountain in the center is Mt. St. Helens, before, obviously 1981! The tree branches in the forefront are the cherryblossoms at our states capitol, Olympia! The medium for this one was pencil.
Now, this one is from a calendar of photographs taken by a friend of mine, and the subject is a fellow I used to work with! It is the only one that has been commercially printed, and was originally done with pen and ink, that's right, the old-fashioned kind, the kind you have to dip! What a mess it made!! hehehe
This is the first oil painting I've done, but it's actually called a "mixed medium" There is some charcoal, watercolor, and colored pencil in it, but it's mostly oil. Just a picture of some stuff! hehehe
This was a wierd project done in pencil, I had to take a shape of vegetables, a green pepper was the dominant, and use the outline to do a landscape! This is the beautiful Puget Sound!
This was a crazy one! Torn paper, painted with acrylics! It was fun!!
