POW/MIA Awards

      IMPORTANT NOTE.
The Andrews Air Force Base USAF Association is building a POW/MIA monument to honor POW/MIAs from all services and all wars. Please visit their site and do what you can. They need our help.

While we are very proud of these awards, they are are not posted to glorify what we have done. Rather, to pay tribute to what our adopted POW/MIA, Tom Scheurich, and other POW/MIAs have done and given for us and our freedom. They are posted in the hope that you will take note and join in urging your legislators to find the answers.

I would like to present you with an award (my newest one): the Patriotic Spirit Award for your POW / MIA page. You've done quite a bit of research there and have made a great effort to show us the personal side of the story.

      Thanks, Melanie
