Here are some of the cool sites I have found in the internet
2. Geocities: A nice website where you get free space to host your web site.
3. Tucows is this nice Australian Site which has lots of information on HTML Editors, and tons and tons of other software. Really very useful for a person starting his homepage.
4. Celine's Original GIFs: If I could name any one site as being a one stop solution for a budding web page builder, that would be Celine's. This page has very useful animations, icons, tool bars and what not's. A must visit for any new homesteader on the internet.
5. Shareware.com: This is one great site for getting a bundle of utilities, screen savers, mouse cursors, games, et al. But remember, shareware is not freeware. If you continue to use it, you must send a small sum as payment to the creator.
