 | The turtle escorted Urashima Taro back up to the East Bay. When he got there, Urashima Taro recognized the familiar tent and lift button, but somehow things had changed. The pear tree that used to be just a little sprout was now a huge tree. Urashima Taro searched for his mother but could not find her anywhere. |
 | Some Norns approached him and said, "Hi. Who are you? Where are you from?" |
 | Urashima Taro told them his name and stammered, "I live here...or at least, I used to live here..." |
 | "Oh yeah, I remember," one of the old Norns said. "I heard a story long ago of a fishernorn named Urashima Taro who disappeared at sea. Was that one of your ancestors?" |
 | Urashima Taro was very confused. It seemed like he had only visited the sea palace for a short time, but here in Albia a great deal of time had passed by. He missed his mother, and he missed the beautiful sea princess. |
 | In his sadness, Urashima Taro forgot Otohime's warning and opened the gift she had given him. Suddenly a wisp of smoke flew out of the box and Urashima Taro became old. |
