Hi! My name is Katherine Roldan.  Im 26 years old and I live in Panama City, Republic of Panama, Central America. I am the proud owner of a 17 month old black and tan rescued dobe "Haro".

I got Haro from a puppy mill, when he was 5 months old and weighed 24 pounds He had ehrlichiosis, demodex and just 7 of Hemoglobine; Also, his gums bled a lot. He was scared of his own shadow. He didn't know how to walk on a leash. He couldn't even respond to his own name! 

Haro and 14 other dobes were confined to a closed area of about the size of a small boxroom. Dogs had to fight among themselves for food (when it was available!), so Haro has many scars because of this.

The dog was basically a scared and shy dog. As of today, he is still a nervous dog. But with a lot of love and patience, he has learned to overcome his traumas.

Now after 12 months of intensive love and care he has become a healthy loving dog. He has assisted to dog obedience classes, demonstrating a high level of intelligence. He has attended dog shows (FCI) achieving the title of "Best Young Dog of Expo" with critiques of "Very Good".

I'd really love to share Haro's story so people learn rescue dogs are grateful. Also, you will find Haro's best friend "Mushu", a female kitten he has adopted.
