Jewel and Jade

I live in Las Vegas, NV, and have 2 Dobies, 1 Red named Jewel and a Fawn named Jade. Jade has Mast Cell Cancer and I'm sorry to say that the Vets think it has spread to her bone. She was limping a few weeks ago, and I took her in for x-rays. They put her on Rimadyl, and wanted to show the x-ray to the Orthopedic Doctor. He called us in and he beleives there is a tumor starting on her right shoulder bone.

We are taking one day at a time. She is feeling really good, and eating and playing. She is still limping though :(. I will give it a few weeks, then have her re- x-rayed and then see if there has been a change. Next step would be a Bone Biopsy.

Jade eats anything that is not nailed down! I have pulled whole tube type of socks out of her butt. She has eaten sponges, she *loves* money, and has eaten shoes, anything leather etc. 

Jewel and Jade belong to Ronda. All our best good luck wishes go out to all of you, and we sincerely hope that Jade gets better soon.
