This is the fireplace. All the trim in the house is painted glossy white, including the fireplace mantle. The facing and hearth are white and gray marble. As you can see, the windows go almost all the way to the floor, as do all the windows on the ground floor. It is one of the kitties' favorite features of the house. |

This is the breakfast area, as seen from the living room Inside that big blank wall on the left is the washer/dryer area. It is accessible from the kitchen. |
 |
This is the kitchen (on right) and the dining room (on left), as seen from the living room. This is the same big blank wall from the previous picture. As you can see, that wall is what separates the kitchen from the living room. It also prevents the living room and dining room from fully joining the way most great rooms do. This is fine with me. I like the fact that they are a bit separated. That door you see to the left also leads to the garage. |

This is the dining room again, and the stairs. The wall facing the camera with the air vent on it is actually slanted compared to the rest of the walls. This wall also contains a closet, accessed from next to the door that leads to the garage. (If you look closely, you can just make out the door knob sticking out near the garage door knob.) |

And this is the view of the living room from the dining room. The door on the left is the garage door. The next door is the one that leads to the closet (refered to above). The opening along the left wall leads to the kitchen. If you look very carefully into the right cat carrier (back wall of living room), you can see two bright kitty eyes peaking out. |
