On the Deck will contain various writings of my every day life. I love to sit on my deck or my front porch and enjoy the beauty that God has so graciously bestowed upon us. It is a place of reflection and peace, a place to rest my mind and renew it for the coming day.

The view from the front porch is a mountain called Mount Timpanogos. There is a legend of the mountain told by the Native Americans that once lived in the area. I will include it someday. I can also see one of the beautiful Temples, the Mount Timpanogos Temple. It sits majestically out there in the valley, and glows a beautiful glow each night. The mountains from the front porch are mysterious and seem to float when they are snow capped.

The view from the deck is partly my neighbors houses, something to remind me of all the great friends I have in this neighborhood. I have big trees that birds nest in, and plenty of bird feeders to attract the ones that haven't discovered our back yard yet. We leave the apples that aren't picked each fall on the trees so that the birds can swarm in on some cold winter day and feed on the remains. We get hundreds of birds some days. It is a beautiful sight. I can also see the lake and mountains from my deck. The sunsets are breath-taking!
