Alana's Favorite Cookie Recipes

Here you will find some of my favorite cookie recipes.

Monster Cookies

(This receipe makes the best cookies you will ever put into your mouth!)

1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups chunk-style peanut butter
6 cups old-fashioned oatmeal
12 oz. chocolate chips
8 oz. M & M candies
2 1/2 tsp. baking soda

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, beat together butter,
sugar and brown sugar. Blend in eggs and vanilla. Add peanut butter;
mix well. In a separate large bowl, stir together oats, chocolate chips,
M & M candies and baking soda. Combine peanut utter mixture and oats.
Drop by tablespoon onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 8 minutes.
Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet before removing to wire rack.
Store tightly covered. Makes 6 dozen. These can also be made in large
shapes by dropping onto cookie sheet with 1/4 cup measuring cup.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes for large cookies.

No Bake Cookies

(I love chocolate!)

2 cups sugar
1/4 cup cocoa
1/2 cup canned milk
1/4 cup margarine
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 1/2 cup quick cooking oatmeal
few grains of salt

In a saucepan combine sugar,cocoa, milk and margarine.
Bring to a rolling boil for one minute (Time with a second hand).

Remove from fire and stir in salt, vanilla,peanut butter and oatmeal.
Drop on wax paper. Let harden.

Oatmeal Cookies

(This receipe was an old friend of mines (Jody) grandmother's recipe. Yummmm!!)

1 cup shortening
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 cup flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
3 cups oatmeal
1 cup pecans
1 cup coconut

Cream together shortening, brown sugar, white sugar and eggs.
Add vanilla, flour, salt, soda, oatmeal, nuts and coconut.
Drop on ungreased cookie sheet;
bake for 10 minutes at 375 degrees.

Peanut Butter Cookies

(Really chewy!)

2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup soft butter
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar, packed
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla

Mix and roll into little balls.

Flatten balls and mark with fork #.
Bake for 8-10 minutes at 375 degrees.

Peanut Butter Rice Krispies Cookies

(If you like peanut butter, you'll love these!)

1 cup sugar
1/2 cup light Karo syrup
1/4 cup honey
112 oz. creamy peanut butter
4-5 cupx rice krispies cereal

Combine sugar,karo syrup and honey. Bring to a slight boil.

Remove from heat. Add peanut butter.
Stir in rice krispies, mix well. Spoon on wax paper.
