Terry's 3M's: Meditations, Mutterings, Madness

November 4, 1997

I have been so busy working on my webpages during my time on the computer that I haven't had a change to write or even think about writing.

There are people who will think my pages are too flowery or nauseatingly pretty. Well, too bad. With four kids and 2 large dogs, I challenge you to keep this house neat and attractive. Especially with these kids. I want to see something pretty once in a while.

For instance, the boys cleaned their bedroom this weekend. You actually could see the floor for a change!

This morning I found out that they took all the clean laundry and stuffed it into bags which they hid in the closet. So their room is now trashed again, thanks to damama--who is grounding them until the clothes are put away properly.

But back to the webpages. I put up a new index page and took part of the stuff from the original page and put it on the new page and changed the background or the original page to a border. Which meant redoing the table on the page. I also changed backgrounds on a couple of other pages.

Why all the remodeling? I applied for a featured page award. Basically, I was told that the only thing wrong with my pages were that a few of them were a tad difficult to read. So, I'm revamping.

Today has gone great in that department. Navigator 4 is working like a charm. The pages look good in both Netscape and IE.

Yesterday was a disaster! Netscape kept freezing up. My isp was disconnecting every half hour. I couldn't get the border background to work--but, that was my fault. I made a simple little html omission. I was just to frustrated to find it yesterday.

Well, I gotta go. For a change, I'm writing this during daylight hours. But, I have to go to that parent-teacher conference in less than an hour.

Thanks to Fantasy Realm for the border background.

Thanks to Geocities for the free webpages.
