Terry's 3M's
Please don't be alarmed if the entries aren't as frequent as usual. It's just the Holiday season that is interfering. For example, at this moment, I am trying to disuade my son from playing with his new train set until his uncle can help. I do not want him to wreck the new toy before he has a chance to learn how to play with it properly. What he really should be doing is getting ready for bed. I will be busy making preparations for Christmas dinner tomorrow during the day. We will have Christmas dinner at my Mom's tomorrow night and Christmas dinner here on Christmas day. Yesterday, the kids went to a Christmas party at my sister's place of employment. Santa was there, and I will be putting the picture of Johnny and Santa on John's page in the near future. Of course, there were presents brought home and put under the tree to open on Christmas. However, the girl's curiosity won out over their good sense and they made a big mistake by opening the ends of all the presents under the tree to exam their contents. Fortunately, the presents from the adults are locked up in another room. But, because they opened the ends of the boy's presents as well as their own, they will not be allowed to open their presents at Grandma's tomorrow night. The boys will open the girl's presents and hand them to the girl's after they are opened. Delton was so incensed that he is threatening to forgo the Christmas tree next year. John's train is a present from his paternal grandparents. He also got clothes. His dad gave him a couple of videos and a remote control 4 x 4 that he's playing with now. [I did get him to put the train up for now. ;)] I have been wasting away the hours playing with Bryan's Super Nintendo. If anyone has gotten the diamond eyes for the sacred dog in Secret of Evermore--please e-mail the directions on how to get across to the west bank of the river. I am stuck and have just been going up levels because I can't figure out how to do it. (I don't have the book that comes with the game. So, I haven't even figured out how to use some of the items.) Stephanie got very sick with a cold. Unfortunately, she hasn't been covering her mouth while coughing and she's spreading it around. Yesterday, I took a couple of whole chickens and made about 2 gallons of chicken noodle soup. I frozen a few single serving containers for later. Well, that's about it--because this child is reluctant to get in the bathtub and get ready for bed. As long as I'm on the computer, he figures he's safe from parental interference. My browser's open, so all I have to do is upload and link this. I'll be done in less than 5 minutes. :) So--Merry Christmas.....and, should I be derelict in writing,...Happy New Year! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
