Terry's 3M's
Continuing on with the research that I couldn't do yesterday, I came upon a site called The Dark Side of the Web with a minimum of 5400 links to various occult sites. I came across only one site about Egyptian Black magic--but, there are lots of sites devoted to other aspects of magic. I am still continuing my readings in the Apocrypha. I have finished the Wisdom of Solomon (which was NOT written by Solomon). In that book there is additional details about the flight from Egypt, the crossing of the Red Sea, and the years in the desert. I am now reading the book of Sirach. Five chapters into it, I am still reading about the benefits of seeking wisdom. I am reading Dark Rivers of the Heart by Dean Koontz. Although Koontz is considered to be primarily an author of horror, this book (by page 225) I would classify as thriller. Usually when I read Koontz, it is for the story and to see how the story ends. With King, it is nearly always the characters and the story. For the first time, I am actually caring what happens to the heroic main characters in a Koontz novel. It is a pleasant surprise! He is a much better writer than he was when he wrote Mask.
This has got to be short. I've got things to do and I'm hoping to catch an hour
of naptime before the kids get home from school. (I went to sleep before midnight,
but, I was up reading from about 2:30/3 until 5:30 this morning.)
