To Moments With Melinda
"Do not let your adornment be merely outward arranging the hair, wearing gold, a putting on of fine apparel; rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God." I Peter 3:3-4
Let me introduce myself...
My name is Melinda and I don't look that good every day. I wear a lot of hats. I am a wife/mother/minister/musician/writer...and the list goes on. I enjoy the privilege of working from our home and am keeping quite busy these days. Besides my regular duties I am founder of "Don't Faint Ministries" which airs a weekly radio broadcast in the Nashville area called "Don't Faint...Just Believe." I am also becoming a full-time webmaster and I am enjoying getting to know so many wonderful people. When I have free time I love to read. I walk daily when the weather permits, listening to praise & worship music and enjoying the beauty of God's creations. We live in a small town and I enjoy the solitude. Life just seems to slow down a little when you hit the Spring Hill city limits sign. I am a graduate of Madonna University in Livonia, Michigan where I received my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Child Development. My husband and I are sharpening our skills continually as we hope to counsel Christians (or anyone else who needs it) when he retires. Time is flying by and he will retire from General Motors in about eight years. Until then our goal is to make our life a ministry. That is easier then it sounds and I hope you will stay around long enough to get to know me better. Like almost every other person in the world I have a few stories to tell. I look forward to sharing them with you and pray that they will strengthen and encourage you!
