I am one of the few remaining, ever-dwindling single members of the team. I serve as team administrator, teach computers, lead our youth group, and do a lot of personal discipleship.
Wayne & Olya were married not long ago in the summer of '98. Wayne is the acting pastor of the church, and Olya (who is Ukrainian by birth) uses her translating education to help our efforts and translate Christian courses from English. They are the pround new parents of twins, Mark and Matthew, who were born to them on March 8.
Gareth, our only New Zealander, teaches English, is church treasurer, cooridinates the EEO family support money distribution, disciples, and makes sure a lot of various things happen. He is my flate-mate.
Tanya is spending a year in full-time language studies in Kiev, having decided after several years in Ukraine that she cannot continue to serve more effectively without that knowledge. She also provides spiritual mentorship for the students from our church who are studying in Kiev.
Valik is a pastor-in-training who will take over the ministry here when we leave, if the Lord is willing. He and his wife have three small children, Vera [4], Nadia [2], and Pyotr (Peter)[.5].
Daniel and Priscilla are currently traveling with their family in Australia, until August 2000. They have two small children, Jesse [3] and Marie [1]. If you would be interested in having them speak at your church, please contact me.
