I Believe I still believe in Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny too. I still believe in Rainbows and I still believe in you. I'll always believe in genies and their wishes, three. I'll always believe in true love and I'll always believe in me. I believe in boogey men and the monster under my bed. I believe that ghosts come back when their flesh is dead. I believe that people lie to themselves, to you, to me. I believe that most are blind to things that I can see. I can see the pain inside from harsh words other inflict, and I can see the hopelessness of a drug addict. I can see turmoil found within a teenager's eyes, and I can see the apathy in the parents they despise. I can see the death around, from bullets and from knives, and I can see the way drugs ruin so many youthful lives. I can see the paths kids choose when no one shows the way, and I can see how they believe in nothing but today. But...I still believe in Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny too. I still believe in hope, I believe that dreams come true. I'll always believe in innocence and someday that we will learn that happiness comes from within and is something we must earn.
