Preheat oven to 375*
1 1/2 c flour 3/4 c sugar
1/2 c butter
1 egg
1/2 t vanilla
1/4 t salt
1/4 t baking soda
1/4 t cream of tartar
2 T sugar
2 t cinnamon
Cream together 3/4 c sugar and butter. Beat in the egg and vanilla.
Stir together in small bowl flour, salt, baking soda and cream of tartar.
Stir into butter mixture till well mixed.
Mix 2 T sugar and 2 t cinnamon.
Shape dough into 1" balls; roll in cinnamon mixture.
Place 2" apart on greased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes.
