Valentine Ornaments
Materials needed:
Mix the applesauce and cinnamon together. Sprinkle some cinnamon on your
work area. Roll out the dough how ever thick you want it. Cut with the
cookie cutters and poke a hole in each ornament to make a place to string
the ribbon through. Move the ornaments to a piece of wax paper. Let dry
for about 24 hours. Paint however you like. Let paint dry. Thread the
ribbon through the hole you made with the straw.
Valentine Mobile
Materials needed:
Cut out heart shapes in different sizes. Punch a hole somewhere in the
hearts and tie a piece of yarn to them. Use different lengths. Punch holes
in the paper plate in different places to tie the hearts on to them. Also
make a hanger for the paper plate out of yarn by tying a long piece of
yarn on opposite sides of the plate. If using a hanger tie the yarn on the
pant wire. Tie a bow around the bottom of the hook.
Valentine Sign
Materials needed:
Cut a large heart out of the red paper. Cut a heart about 1 inch smaller
than the red heart from the white paper. Trace one each of the girls'
hands and cut out. Glue the white heart onto the red heart and the pink
hand onto the white heart except for the ring finger and the middle
finger. Bend the ring finger and the middle finger forward and glue or
tape to the palm of the hand. Write "I Love You!" between the
index finger and thumb. Tell the girls that the pinkie finger stands for "I",
the index finger and thumb stands for "LOVE", and the pinkie and
thumb stands for "YOU".
