Lord, Let Me Be a Guidepost

Lord, let me be a guidepost,
Let me be a light,
Showing forth Thy great mercy,
To souls in sin’s dark night.

Lord, let me be a beacon,
Shedding forth its beam,
Helping lost men to find Thee,
‘Midst life’s tempestuous stream.

Lord, let me tell of Calvary,
Holding high faith’s lamp.
Bringing light of salvation,
Where evil hosts encamp.

Let my light shine at crossroads,
Where crowds throng each day,
Pointing lost souls to Thee, Lord,
The Life, the Truth, the Way!!
