Leaning on the Arms of Jesus

Leaning on the arms of Jesus,
I find perfect rest.
Under His wings abiding,
Nestled on my Saviour’s breast.

Christ, my Lord, and faithful Shepherd,
Who knows all I need,
Lends His sweet grace and comfort,
In His pastures green I feed.

Save in His arms everlasting,
I find heavenly peace,
Knowing His love surrounds me,
Anxious care and worries cease.

Leaning on the arms of Jesus,
Till on Heaven’s shore,
Dwelling with Christ, my Saviour,
Safe at Home forevermore!
