Christ Creative Baptist Church, Capitol Heights, MD 1990-Present
Founder and Pastor
Planted a new church in Largo, MD. The church is presently located in Capitol Heights, MD. Bivocational, part-time pastor. Lead worship services, Bible Studies, counseling, Sunday school, vacation Bible school, music ministry, and spiritual development. Preach weekly sermons. Established stewardship program. Held seminars on spiritual, economic, political, social, and educational issues. Created new cable TV show "The Light of the World" on Community TV of Prince George’s County, MD. Mentor to several doctor of ministry candidates at United Theological Seminary. Developed programs for adults, teenagers, and children. Editor of weekly newsletter. Wrote newspaper articles for the Prince George’s Journal, Prince George’s Post, Washington Post, and The Charleston (SC) News and Courier. Certified seminary instructor for the Southern Baptist Convention. United States Army Reserve Chaplain. Author of the book: Stewardship and Discipleship Development in the American Church. Writing books: The Bible: A Document for Life; Church Administration; and Preaching Under the Anointing.

Preached and taught in this internationally known church. Served in the lay ministry and children’s church. Worked as an assistant Cub Scout Leader. Assisted in the Lord’s Supper and Baptisms. Earned the Outstanding Young Man of the America Award.

Field Education Training for United Theological Seminary (UTS), Dayton, OH. Preached, lead youth revivals, and was the senior Sunday school teacher. Ministered to the youth at retreats and club meetings. Volunteer speaker at the Montgomery County Juvenile Correction Center. Spoke in children’s church, high school, family reunions, and church clubs. Taught Baptist Training Union and lead business/law seminars. Independent contractor and purchasing specialist for the United States Postal Service (USPS), Automation Purchasing with Lockheed Martin ($246 million Carrier Sequence Bar Coding System, $135 million Flat Sorting Machine 1000, $33 million Flat Sorting Machine 1000 Bar Code Reader, and $.450 million Mail Tray Cart System).

Senior Associate
Acquisition manager for the $500 million EHF Satellite Communications Program for the United States Navy. Wrote the lesson plan for the Veteran Affairs $.5 million Service Acquisition course.

Chief of Contracts on the United States Air Force (USAF) $550 million Industrial Modernization Improvement Program, Contract Negotiator on the USAF $10 billion B-1B program with Rockwell International, Inc., price analyst on the USAF $45 billion F-16 program with General Dynamics Corporation, and nuclear missile launch officer on the USAF Minuteman II Weapon program.
DEMONSTRATIONS OF EFFECTIVENESS
Conceptualized and developed a new church. Created all plans, objectives, and goals. Developed ministry outreach strategies using demographics, trend analysis, and prayer. Result: Planted a new church in Largo, MD.
Researched/produced a project and thesis for the doctor of ministry degree. Attended seven years of classes which included intensive sessions and peer group discussions. Wrote project methodology; developed project time line; worked with group of church members in shaping project; implemented and modified project as needed; evaluated findings; wrote thesis and final documentation and defended my thesis. Result: Earned the Doctor of Ministry degree.
Wrote operational instructions for Christ Creative Baptist Church. Penned the overall policies for day to day ministry for all groups to include deacons/deaconesses, trustees, Sunday school teachers, associate ministers, choirs, ushers, and staff members. Wrote Constitution and By Laws, Articles of Faith, and New Member Orientation Instructions. Result: Established the policies that govern Christ Creative Baptist Church and the Church was incorporated.
Created youth group named "Success In Life Club" as youth pastor. Sponsored tutoring programs, motivational speakers, youth mentoring, business development, Bible games, rap sessions, and field trips. Results: Youths were established in the knowledge of Christ and learned what it took to be a success.
