Misty won a $3000 prize package
from the radio station, a weekend spa session, 
for two,a one day session for one at the Houstonian, 
and dinner for ten at LaStrada with limo sevice. 
This is a picture of my daughter and I the 
night we went to dinner.


This is the second of what I call my "Cinderella 
Weekends", the first being over 25 years ago when 
we attended the Steeplchase Ball, the Debutant Ball, 
in Fort Worth, Texas. This is Sterling and I leaving 
for dinner. Which by the way, was fantastic. The 
food was wonderful but the deserts were fantastic. 
If you have never gone to dinner in a limo, please do. 
Very romantic, the start of a wonderful evening.

Jinx was our babysitter so he wasn't 
able to go to dinner, but did want to have 
part in 'the fun'. I hope he remembers this 
when he has been married a while, and treats 
his wife to the romantic eveningshe will deserve.

Houston hosted a fireworks and lazer show in August, 
the biggest on the Northern continent. It was amazing
to see fireworks floating down over the Houston skyline.
Freeways were closed down, mostly a disaster area until 
1am, but am sure those waiting felt it was worth the wait. 
This is my complete family as we sat and watched the 
amazing show.
