Creating
Stories
Part
3!
About 3 years ago I was hand knitting an afghan for the back of
my couch *not thinking it was anything special at the time* My 80 year old
grandmother from Ohio came to visit my mother at that time and my
grandmother was sick with cancer and stayed cold all the time. She had
forgot to bring her blanket that she throws over her legs in the evenings
to keep warm, so I having just finished the afghan brought it to her to
throw over her while she was here visiting. When she saw the afghan she
feel in love with it so I gave it to her. She was so happy, she offered to
give me money for it, I wouldn't take it of course. I told her she could
have it just becasue I love her. Grandma Muter took the blanket back with
her to Ohio when her visit was over. Everyday she would use that afghan and
when she was on her death bed, she wanted that afghan over her legs so that
she sould "feel close to me" After her funeral, I was given the blanket
back by the family. I made my Grandma Muter very happy with a simple
handmade afghan. She in return made me very happy by enjoying the simple
gift given from my heart.

WhiteDove's Front Porch!!
I try to create a rainbow as often as i can, me and
my friends go to downtown chicago at least once a month
to help feed and distrubute clothing to the less fortunate
people. I also try to visit the less fortunate children
in the area and try to bring HaPPiNeSS into there life
by donating some of my older toys or buying new ones.
--A RainbowCreator--
Every pay day, I take $10 to the used toy shop down the street
and ask them to use it for any child that comes in with their parents
and wants a used toy that maybe Mom or Dad are not able to buy right
now, but will accept the toy free of charge as a little rainbow for
the child. The clerk keeps the money in a jar next to the cash register
and offers it to the parents for a toy for their child.

In a way, I create rainbows every day. I create Graphical Text
for free for those who want it. Tons of colors. I even have
two pre-made rainbow alphabets on
my site.

One day, I was walking home from the park and I was
passing the home of a friend of mine named Steve,
who I met while he and his wife Kim were planting their
garden. he was BBQing halibut, and he invited me to have
supper. I accepted, and we talked about stuff, and I
became close friends with him, his wife and their son
Thayer.
