Christian Marriage & Family.

This Month's Topic Is:
How Can I Live In Peace

And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.
Colossians 3:15
How can we stay calm and peaceful in a world that is filled with so much distress, anger, hate, lies and moral decay all around us? Very simply put, the answer is.....
Let Go...then Let God!

Unfortunately, the world is filled with so many people who are living contrary to God's laws. Even those who profess to be christians can be blinded to the truth. The effect of their actions can bring destruction to those who are seeking God in their life. But then this would be satan's plan now anyway!
What we need to remember is when we completely surrender to God's Will in our lives our hearts will be filled with the peace that only the "truth" can provide.
...."If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."
John 8:31-32

Remember the day you accepted Jesus Christ into your heart and proclaimed Him to be your Lord and Savior. That day was the beginning of a journey toward understanding the "truth". This journey is filled with many lessons of learning the way to our Heavenly Father. These lessons are learned when we seek our Father by study, prayer, meditation and thanksgiving on a daily basis, which will strengthen our knowledge in our Christian walk.
As your walk grows stronger in the "truth",.....you will be comforted to know that all you need to do is surrender to Him. We do not need to solve the worlds problems, nor are we expected to. We cannot change the way people behave, they must do that. However, never forget, In God all things are possible. (Matthew 19:26)
Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.
1 Peter 5:6-7

Since He cares for you.....you no longer need to worry! What more can we possibly need!
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world. But may the God of all grace, who called us to eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. To Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen!
1 Peter 5:8-11

Perhaps you are facing difficulty in your marriage, family or other relationships today. The feelings eating away at your contentment and peace are not from God. Make no mistake about who's powers are influencing you. If you are too caught up in the problems you face, you will not be still enough to hear God's answer.
Sometimes, just knowing that these bad feelings are not from God, is the biggest piece of your peace you are missing!
The more you understand the "truth" the more peace will fill your heart. When you have peace in your heart you desire to make peace. When we desire to make peace our relationships become easier. We react better, we can communicate in love, we become humbled and unselfish...then, we will profoundly affect other people. When we sow peace in our lives, our marriages, our families and all other relationships, our world will be a much nicer place to live!

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.
James 3:17-18

Whatever you think is stealing your peace... release it now through Christ to God! then....leave it there!
Now...you will be able to go about your Father's business!

Heavenly Father, thank you for all your mercy toward me in this life. Father my heart is heavy and troubled. I need to learn how to let things go and give them all to you God. Help me to understand the "truth" of your Word in the scriptures. Show me the way to peace by casting all doubt and care into your everlasting arms. Thank you Father for loving me each and every day. For your loving presence in my life that I feel so deeply when I am obedient to your Will in my life. I seek peace God, I seek the freedom from the bondage my heart feels. Take my burdens Father.....set me free in Your truth.
In Jesus loving name I pray,
Amen and Amen. So Be It!
