Pack 240 Pinewood Derby Track
The Finish Line -
Our track incorporates the Micro Wizard Fast Track electronic finish line, with accurate readings to one-thousandth of a second. It is really a good thing that we decided to go with the electronic finish line! At this years race, we had several ties, even with the electronic scoring! With a track as precise as we feel ours is, there is not much left to make the cars uneven, except the car design itself. A fair and accurate judging system is necessary, and we feel that our Fast Track system provides that. Below is a rather poor picture of our finish line area. I'm hoping to get some better pictures at the District race in April...
