NINTH GENERATION

Christian Evander HOUSER was born on 16 Oct 1848 in Salem,
North Carolina.  He died about 2 Feb 1933 at home on Cemetery
Road.  He was buried in Enchanted Prairie Cemetery, near Bridge, 
Coos County, Oregon.

He was married to Sarah Jane POTTER on 25 Dec 1867 in North 
Carolina.  Sarah Jane POTTER was born in Apr 1848 in North 
Carolina.  She died on 16 Sep 1910 in Rock Creek, (Bridge) Coos 
County, Oregon.

Friday, September 23, 1910

[unreadable] wife of C.E. Houser, died at her home on Rock Creek
Friday, September 16, at 11 a.m. aged 62 years, 5 months and 22 
days.  The funeral was held Saturday at 2 p.m. services being 
conducted at Enchanted Prairie cemetery by Rev. F.E. Scofield.  
Besides, the husband, seven children are left to mourn the loss 
of their mother, all of whom are grown.  They are:  Mrs. Morris 
of Myrtle Point, Mrs. Warner of Myrtle Creek, Mrs. Rookard of 
Bridge, James Houser of Bridge, Im Houser of Bridge, Fin. Houser 
of North Bend and Josie Houser of Bridge.


Christian Evander HOUSER and Sarah Jane POTTER had the following
children:

		Mary Carolina HOUSER.
		James Giliam HOUSER.
		Margaret Elizabeth HOUSER 
                      died (prior to 1912) in Oregon.
		Florence HOUSER.
		Fines HOUSER.
		Innes HOUSER.
		Laura May HOUSER.
		Edna HOUSER was born on 22 Jun 1886.  
                      She died on 1 Jan 1898.  She was buried 
                      in Enchanted Prairie Cemetery, near  
                      Bridge, Coos County, Oregon.
		Josephine HOUSER.

He was married to Bessie THOMAS.  Christian Evander HOUSER 
and Bessie THOMAS had the following children:

		Nellie HOUSER.
		Genevieve HOUSER.  
		Chester HOUSER.
