The RYAN of Ireland (Back)

After the FOGARTY were were eviocted from their anestral castle (Eliogarty Castle) it is claimed some of them changed their name to RYAN (a clan that seemed to have special priveledges withe the British rulers). It is also thought that some FOGARTY married into the RYAN Clan in order to be allowed to be land owners.
