PRAYING FOR OUR CHILDREN

We always pray for our children, but there are several children who could use extra prayers at this time. Please pray for their family members as well. If your family has needs you would like to share with the FHE community, please contact Betty Parkes at parkes.5@cwix.com

Hannah , daughter of Larry and Starla - Hannah has a brain tumor. She has been taking treatment since March of this year. Recently, more problems have been uncovered and Hannah has been a very sick little girl. Please pray as her family decides how to proceed with her care. She is young and some treatments are quite risky. Hannah needs a miracle to heal her.

Soyna , daughter of Juan and Bridget - Sonya has recently joined the family. Please read their announcement on page 3. Pray for Soyna as she faces several surgeries and adapts to a new culture.

Madeleine , daughter of Melanie and Ken - Madeleine still suffers from headaches. She has had several tests but nothing has been found. Her mother said it is a praise that she is coping with them better.

Max , son of Thad and Donna - Max has not been able to hear. He is young and the family has had difficulty finding a doctor who would operate on him. They did find a doctor and Max has had a surgery. Pray for them as they continue to seek the best care for Max. Here is a note from his mother:

Thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers. I would love to thank everyone who prayed for Max. It most definitely worked! I have to admit I was terrified during his surgery even though I had asked God many times to help me feel calm and trust Him to keep Max safe. As it turned out Max came through the surgery fine. He had tubes put in his ears and the fluid drained out, a hearing test, and part of his cleft palate repaired. We are blessed that Max can hear at 50 decibels. Normal hearing is about 20 decibels. He will need hearing aids, but we are so very thankful. He went to the doctor this morning and his cleft is healing well. He was able to go back to his bottles today after a week of having his milk squirted into his mouth via a syringe. We were both very happy! Again, thank you to all who kept us in their thoughts and prayers!
