Mine is and I'd like to be involved in the preparation of that great occasion, wouldn't you?

The location can be your own home, your own selected site, your place of worship, just about anywhere you wish. You can celebrate alone, just your family and close friends, inconspicuous, personal and private or with other graduating seniors and their families and invited guests.

The occasion will take place, as quietly or as grand as you wish, but it will take place. Your children will go through that transition of "graduating"--a simple yet profound recognition or acknowledgement, private or public, simple or grand. Your child, so quickly turning in manhood or womanhood, looks forward to this event with wonderment, anticipation and exciting accomplishment and approval in having completed a major life phase. It's a major turning point from being a child student to becoming an adult--growing up, if you wish.

It's the system of things in which we live (sorry about that - most homeschoolers refuse being put into a system or mold - that's why you are homeschooling). For their sake, do not deny your child that stepping stone which should not be skipped. Make plans now and make it a special occasion.
