Playing checkers proved to be just as much fun. Matt Z. and Jay T. battled it out. These guys are ready. Any takers out there? We need more players. In Connect 4 we had an unbeatable player -- Emily Morales. She’s ready to play if you’re prepared to lose.
A great thanks to all who participated in the games. I enjoyed it just as much as they. Watch out for Jonathan Poppe and don’t let his age fool you. He’ll checkmate your king if you blink! That guy has beaten me! I’d like to see a game between John and his brother, Paul. Little sister Michelle is also a rising chess player. Jesse Oviatt is going to surprise us one day with his chess skills. Men, don’t be surprised if you get beaten by these rising young chess players - "tHeY'rE gReAt! Emily M. can play a great game too. She has actually beaten me royally. See you at the games this February!

Want to join the Stamp Club / 1¢ Auction? The only requirement is that you love to collect stamps. Our “auction” was a lot of fun. We had three-plus “big money” contenders. I recall these: Pauland Michelle Poppe, and Jesse O. All philatelists went home with some really nice stamps, perhaps some real treasures. They will find out if they check out Scott Catalogue prices. All stamps are genuine. If not, they’re worth a lot more.
