For those of you looking for yet another interesting way of teaching history, I suggest joining the Winston-Salem Coin Club. They meet on the 2nd Tuesday of the month, at Miller Park Recreation Center, at 7:00 p.m. The next meeting will be held February 9. There are cash door prizes possible for all who attend, and special door prizes for members.

To become a member is only $5.00 for adults, and children attending with a parent member are free. They have just begun an "awards" program, (complete with instructions on obtaining particular sets of coins) a lending library that is EXCELLENT, refreshments, and a coin auction at every meeting!

We have been attending for a number of months and it has been not only a fun experience but an educational one as well. Please call Betty Parkes if you have any other questions.
